The meeting of the World Heritage Associations network
Federica Legnani, site manager of the property 'The Porticoes of Bologna', took part in the annual meeting of the World Heritage Associations network in Florence on Friday 11 October.
The meeting dealt with numerous aspects including tourism within World Heritage, with the participation of Peter Debrine of the World Heritage Centre.
He illustrated the results of the World Heritage Journeys of Europe project, carried out by the World Heritage Centre together with National Geographic.
Another topic discussed was the European Associations network’s presence in the projects of the European Heritage Hub. Finally, work was done on organising the first European Forum of Site Managers to be held in April 2025 in Granada, Spain.
