In recent days, the site manager, Architect Federica Legnani, met a group of girls and boys from the Cantalamessa kindergarten to talk about porticoes and UNESCO.
The activity was carried out as part of the project “A city for all” and was promoted by the teachers: Katia Moretti, Ilaria Faffini, Agata Bucci, Vincenza Leone, Agnese Cristofori, Caroline Oreel, Chiara Fiorio, Maria-Luisa Sileo.
Cantalamessa School is located near two of the most important components of the serial property - the Portico of San Luca and the Portico of Certosa - so the porticoes are an element that is part of the daily life of these girls and boys, which is why the teachers organized this activity involving the Porticoes Office as well.
The girls and boys drew a level section of the Portico of San Luca along via Saragozza, depicting it from life, while they were sitting in the lawn of Villa delle Rose.
The commentary on the drawings was an opportunity to tell the story of the porticoes, why they became world heritage, and the significance of UNESCO values.
