The Bologna portico system has been complemented by a valuable digital contribution. The Bank of Italy has published on its institutional website the book “Il Portico dei Misteri”, edited by Professor Daniele Fraccaro. Featuring photographs by Vanessa Wellington, the work documents the extraordinary decorative richness of the portico of Palazzo Cipolla, considered the most ornate in the city.
