The Conference “Dissemination and Interpretation of World Heritage - the EKCNA property Evaporitic Karst and Caves of the Northern Apennines” will be held in the morning of Friday, 28 November in the main hall of the Tower in Viale Aldo Moro 30 in Bologna (headquarters of the Emilia-Romagna Region). It will also be possible to view it in streaming mode. In the afternoon from 3:00 pm there will be a guided tour in the centre of Bologna, entitled “Discovering selenite and its traces in history”.

Two years after the recognition of the EKCNA property as a UNESCO heritage site, the conference will be an important opportunity to discuss how to take stock of actions for the protection, enhancement and communication of heritage. The event, promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Region, will open with a welcome from Cleto Carlini, Director General of Care of the Territory and the Environment, and an introduction by Gianni Gregorio, Head of the Protected Areas, Forests and Mountain Areas Development Sector.
