Bologna – the Porticoes become a model of climate resilience

A round table interview with the Mayor, Councillor Boni and Site Manager, conducted by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development

The Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development ETS (ASviS), founded in 2016 on the initiative of the Unipolis Foundation and the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, is a network of over 300 entitiescommitted to the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda and its 7 Sustainable Development Goals. 

The official site hosts a round table interview for the #UNESCO sustainable column. The guests are Mayor of Bologna Matteo Lepore, Councillor for New Mobility, Ecological Transition and Digital Transition Anna Lisa Boni, and Site Manager of the “The Porticoes of Bologna” property Federica Legnani.The article entitled Bologna – the Porticoes become a model of climate resilience illustrates some initiatives, such as the “Shadow Lines” project, LED lighting and efficiency strategies. 

The interviewees argue that in this way the heritage of urban reality, committed to the EU Mission for 100 climate-neutral cities, becomes infrastructure for the transition
