Bologna Portici Festival 2026: Official Book Launch
As part of the official program of the Bologna Portici Festival 2026, the Sala della Cultura at Palazzo Pepoli will host the official launch of the book "La Maia e la Ludo - A passeggio sotto i portici" on Saturday, June 6 at 10:00 AM.
The book is an educational guide, created as the culmination of the educational project "I portici dai mille colori" (The Porticoes of a Thousand Colors), designed to pass on the historical, cultural, and social value of our urban heritage to the younger generations.
Program and Speakers
The event will offer an important opportunity for dialogue between local institutions, schools, and the professionals who created the publication. Speakers at the presentation will include:
- Giulia Guadagnoli, Author of the book;
- Paola Guazzotti, Representative of In riga edizioni;
- Shahm Obeidat, Illustrator of the book;
- Daniele Ara, Councillor for Education of the Municipality of Bologna.
The event will be moderated by Laura Brambilla, Project Manager for "Senza titolo" – Progetti aperti alla cultura. The invitation is open to the general public, teachers, and families.
The engagement of children and families will continue into the afternoon. On Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, a special hub managed by "Senza titolo" Srl will be set up under the Portico of Via Farini. In this dedicated space, children can challenge themselves with fun activities and workshops inspired by the games featured in the book, discovering the secrets of the porticoes through fun and creativity.
