The project resumes up the work carried out for the creation of an e-book called “Porticando per la scuola. Educational paths on the Porticoes of Bologna”, within the project “Three Institutions and a Heritage” 2022-2023, with content specially developed and adapted for primary school students.
The e-book is aimed at teachers of 3rd, 4th and 5th year primary school pupils and functions as a teaching tool that can be used independently for lectures, workshops, itineraries and walks under the porticoes. There are four main sections:

There is in-depth information on general World Heritage themes, which allow the Porticoes to be included in the broader context of the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The Porticoes of Bologna content includes the historical background on the birth of the portico and its development over time, not only from a functional and construction point of view, but also in terms of its value in the daily lives of citizens and visitors and the characteristics that have led it to become an identitary aspect of Bologna.
In-depth activities, workshops, and outdoor trails complete the learning kit, designed to encourage students to observe and reflect on their experience.
